Swim Lesson Rates

Every session has a $5 registration fee that is collected for each child.

Private (One Instructor for One Swimmer) Lessons:
15 Minutes: $27
30 Minutes: $54
45 Minutes: $81
Semi-Private (One Instructor for Two Swimmers) Lessons:
15 Minutes: $20.50/Swimmer
30 Minutes: $41/Swimmer

We accept cash, credit/debit, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

Unfortunately, the state of Nebraska does not permit us to bill insurance for swim lessons. We are able to accept insurances for aquatic therapy, but those services are not focused in teaching independent swim skills.

Cancellation Policy:
Life happens, we understand that! However, we invite our waitlist families to join us on days swimmers are absent. Fees for canceling are as follows:

$0 fee = canceled lessons with more than 24 hour's notice
50% the cost of the lesson = canceled lessons with less than 24 hours' notice
100% the cost of the lesson = no show without notice

Financial Assistance

This scholarship covers 50% of the cost of lessons for an entire session. Each swimmer is eligible once per year, January-December.

The Down syndrome Alliance of the Midlands Recreation Scholarship will cover $250 for a DSA member on an annual basis.

“Getting my son into swimming lessons—and being able to continue them—has been an incredible blessing and a tremendous gift for our family.

Jayden is nonverbal, an eloper, and severely autistic. He absolutely loves water. It doesn’t matter if it’s a lake, a pool, or even just a sink—he’s drawn to it and will jump in without hesitation. Unfortunately, he has no awareness of danger, which makes this love of water very scary for us as his family.

One day, he jumped into a lake without warning, and I had to go in and pull him out. That terrifying moment made me realize just how urgent and important it is for him to learn how to swim and to be safe around water.

This scholarship means the world to us. It not only gives Jayden a chance to learn critical life-saving skills, but it also gives us peace of mind and seeing how much he is enjoying himself during the lesson. For families like ours—who live with limited income and care for children with special needs—opportunities like this are rare and deeply meaningful. I know we're not alone in this; there are so many other families who face similar challenges, and programs like this truly make a difference in our lives.
